Not worth the price., February 18, 2011 This review is from: Weight Watchers New Points Plus Electronic Food Scale Kitchen (Health and Beauty) I'm good with electronics and computers, but this electronic scale has me baffled. Operation is not intuitive at all. I'm constantly referring to the manual for basic instructions. If you just want to weigh a food item and get points, there's no way to calculate number of servings. For that you need to build a recipe. The frustration there is that once you're in recipe mode, it never finishes and prompts you to add the next food. There's no Done, Now Calculate. And its missing a number of basic items that you would want to use in a recipe. Like milk, kercryingoutloud! I am constantly yelling at the darn thing. I was told at the WW meeting that the cost of the "Points Plus Food Scale" is increasing in Jan 2011 to $40. Even still, that is $19. less than Amazon's price! It's SO overpriced! You can get this scale (in Denver where I am anyway) for $40! And every other product on here I have seen is at least half the price at the meetings. I don't believe you even have to be a member if you're not. Just check to see where your nearest meeting is being held and show up before the meeting starts and purchase what ever you need for much less than the prices here!
